Whitney Vandervalk, Registered Dental Hygienist
I was raised in Lethbridge, Alberta before deciding to move to Calgary to attend Bow Valley College and receive my Dental Business Assistant Certificate. After managing a clinic for two years, I decided to move to Ottawa, Ontario to pursue my dream of becoming a dental hygienist. I graduated with honors in 2011 and received my Registered Dental Hygiene Diploma. With over 8 years in the dental field I am proud to open up my own dental hygiene clinic and provide back to my community and hometown of Lethbridge, Alberta.
Tamara Jensen, Registered Dental Hygienist
I was born and raised in Southern Alberta. I attended dental hygiene school in Sheridan Wyoming and graduated with honours in 2004 with an associate degree in dental hygiene. In 2005 I received a bachelor of science degree in dental hygiene from The University of Wyoming. During my schooling, I received advanced training and certification to administer local anesthetic. Later, I expanded my skills by being trained to provide soft tissue laser therapy.
As an independent dental hygienist, my focus is always the client. I love building professional and personal relationships with each client and working with them to achieve optimal oral health. I strive to treat each client with quality care and provide a positive dental hygiene experience.
When I’m not at work I love spending time with my husband, Andrew and our two beautiful
little boys. I also loves riding horses, camping, and being in the mountains.
Loraine McWilliam, Registered Dental Hygienist
I graduated from the University of Alberta School of Dental Hygiene and has enjoyed many years of practice. I often tells my clients that Dental Hygiene was created just for me because it suits me so well. I have spent time in a private dental practice as well as servicing clients in community health settings. Continued care courses include administration of local anesthesia, laser treatment of gum tissues and tooth whitening.
In my spare time, I can be found golfing in the summer and curling in the winter. My two dogs, Lucy and Rose, keep me busy walking every day.
As an independent practitioner I love the connections made with clients on a personal level. I’m pleased to join the team at Lethbridge Dental Hygiene Clinic and look forward to continuing to serve my clients as well as to meeting new ones.
